Casual Aqua Instructor

Oldham Active is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Aqua Instructors to join our casual instructor team. With opportunities available across several of our leisure centres, this is a fantastic chance to become part of an organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of local communities.

About the Role

As an Aqua Instructor, you’ll deliver safe, fun and engaging water-based exercise classes that motivate participants of all ages and abilities. You’ll help create a positive and welcoming environment while supporting individuals on their health and fitness journey.

We are looking for instructors who can provide casual cover for our existing class timetable where sessions run morning, afternoon and evenings, as well occasional weekend classes. There may be opportunities also for regular classes going forward. Some of our sessions are female only, so applications will be welcomed from female applicants who can provide cover for these sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality aqua classes in a safe and professional manner.
• Motivate and engage participants of varying abilities.
• Adapt exercises to meet individual needs.
• Promote health, wellbeing and physical activity.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and organisational policies.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Aqua Exercise Instructor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping people improve their health and wellbeing.
• Ability to work across various Oldham Active sites.
• First Aid qualification desirable.
• DBS clearance required.
