Location: Stretford Leisure Centre
Hours: 36.25 hours per week (full-time) – averaged across a rolling rota which includes morning, evening and weekend shifts
Job Type: Permanent
Rate: £13.60 per hour
Please note: to be eligible for this role, you must hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and be able to commit to full-time hours on a permanent basis.

About the Role
As a Lifeguard, you’ll play an important role in ensuring every customer has a safe, enjoyable and positive experience when visiting our centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety of all swimming customers by providing vigilant lifeguard support.
- Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Meeting and greeting customers and checking them into activities.
- Setting up activity areas and equipment to meet programme requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the centre.
- Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- A valid Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
