In my Trustee role at Greater Manchester Moving, I support the organisation in how we harness data and insights – and embrace technology and AI to achieve our ambitions. I also sit on the Nominations & Remuneration Committee – and support the board in identifying and developing new initiatives to make a positive impact to people’s lives in Greater Manchester and beyond.

Professional background
I’ve spent most of my career in Commercial Leadership and Business Development roles – primarily in the technology space – and most recently, as co-owner and equity partner in a cybersecurity business. I always get a buzz from working across a wide variety of different clients – and have enjoyed helping deliver tech-enabled growth within some of the UK’s leading organisations in Professional Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Travel and Hospitality, Healthcare, Construction and Logistics – as well as with numerous elite sports organisations including some of the country’s most successful Premier League football clubs.
How movement brings me joy
I seem to naturally have a very active mind – which has its pros and cons! Movement – be that a walk in nature, a run, playing tennis or padel, going to the gym (or even painting and decorating or washing the car) – helps take my mind and body to a different place and brings a sense of inner peace as well as an overall feeling of physical and mental well-being. I also find that if I do push myself in terms of physical exertion – I really enjoy that lasting ‘afterglow’ that often sticks around for the rest of the day.
