Job role: I work within the Active Adults team as Equalities Lead. My role is to work across the system, creating conditions for people and communities from diverse backgrounds to move more. I have a strong focus on sharing diverse stories, supporting VCFSE organisations, exploring how faith and movement are interlinked, and how we can embed movement into faith settings
Professional background: Primarily worked with sport development and EDI. I spent 6 years at Sporting Equals working in various roles. I also work in an EDI role with Adult Social Care with a local authority. Additionally, I am heavily involved in football with a range of stakeholders such the FA, Premier League and clubs within the semi-professional and professional game.
