Dry Leisure Assistant

Trafford Leisure is on the lookout for a Dry Leisure Assistant to join the team.

Location: Stretford Sports Village, Talbot Centre

Rate: £12.71 per hour/£13.50 if Level 2 Gym Instructor qualified (As a Real Living Wage employer, we will be reviewing this rate as part of our upcoming 2026 pay review.)

Hours: 19.5 hours per week – Monday – 16:45 – 22:15, Tuesday 16:45 – 22:15, Sunday 08:45 – 17:15

In the role of Dry Leisure Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Meeting & greeting customers
• Keyholder responsibility for opening and locking up the site
• Staying up to date with systems, processes, and industry best practices.
• Maintaining training and qualifications
• Preparing activity areas and equipment to meet the needs of the programme
• Ensuring all equipment meets the highest standards of safety and cleanliness
• Ensuring the safety of our customers
• Listening and responding to customers’ requests
• Collaborating with managers to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Supporting your centre’s sales and customer retention

What you need:

• First Aid at Work – Essential, we can put you through the course if not already acquired.
• Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification – Desirable, but not essential for the role.
