In Stockport a range of partners are working to support people to be more active and to design moving, physical activity and sport back into daily life.
A refreshed Active Communities Strategy has launched to get 'Stockport Moving Together'. 1 in 3 adults and half of the children in Stockport are not physically active enough daily to maintain their health and wellbeing as they grow older. Stockport Moving Together aims to reduce that number by working with residents, communities, and key partners across multiple sectors to increase opportunities to move more.
