Professional background: My working life began at 17 when I joined an Architectural Practice in Oldham as their office junior. 22 years later, when I finally left, I was the Directors PA. I had a few years break before starting at Greater Manchester Moving as the Office Manager.
What type of movement brings me joy? I really enjoy dog walking. It’s not just about the exercise – it’s the whole experience of being outside, getting fresh air, and taking a break from screens and daily stress. I love how it gives me time to slow down, notice my surroundings, and feel more connected to nature, whether that’s through quiet streets or green spaces. It’s a simple activity that clears my mind, boosts my mood, and leaves me feeling more relaxed and grounded.
