Walk:Enabled CIC are proud to share our UR:Enabled exercise programme. This is a completely free, evidence-based series of short workouts designed specifically for people with amputation or limb-difference.
Each session is around 10 minutes long, making it easy to fit movement into the day while gradually building strength, confidence, and fitness. The programme progresses from beginner to advanced, allowing participants to start at a comfortable level and develop their physical activity over time.
UR:Enabled was created by Walk:Enabled CIC, a community interest company working alongside people with amputation and limb-difference. Our work focuses on supporting individuals returning to activity and conducting research that improves opportunities for physical activity within the limb-difference community.
The programme was developed as part of a seven-year research project, with direct input from people with lived experience of amputation. When piloted with amputee participants, the programme significantly increased physical activity levels, and those improvements were maintained even after participants completed the programme.
Thanks to funding from Sport England and The National Lottery, and in partnership with the charity LimbPower, we have produced two video series designed for post-rehabilitation amputees who want accessible, adapted workouts they can do at home.

UR:Enabled is the first validated exercise programme and video series designed specifically for amputees, offering structured progression so participants can safely and gradually improve their fitness.
By popular demand, we have also created a fun pirate-themed series for children, featuring kids with amputation and limb-difference and encouraging them to get active through play:
