GreaterSport CEO, Hayley Lever, guested on a Good employment charter webinar last week focussed around the important of health and wellbeing. She spoke about the importance of mental wellbeing alongside Dr Sally Hemming, Health & Wellbeing Lead at Ernst & Young and Charlene Mulhern, Mental Wellbeing System Lead at The Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership.

1 in 6 people are experiencing a common mental health problem at any point in time. In Greater Manchester that is almost half a million people.

The session includes Charlene introducing the Greater Manchester wellbeing toolkit and what’s included in this including tools and resources that can be used to support individuals, teams or managers in a workplace.

Hayley talks about the role of physical activity in supporting mental wellbeing and shares the Workplace Toolkit with Sally sharing EYI’s story around embedding health & wellbeing at a strategic level in the organisation.

Check out their blog here, where you can also view the webinar.
