Guidance for the Greater Manchester Winter School Games regarding the coronavirus.
GreaterSport as the event organiser is following the guidance provided by the DCMS (more information is available in the document attached). The current situation is there is no need to postpone or cancel events. However if the situation changes, GreaterSport will ensure that the safety of young people, attendees and any other individuals remains our priority. If the stage heightens to B or C, cancellation or postponement of the event may take affect with as little as 24 hours’ notice. We encourage all schools and young people to remain attentive to the current situation and check with their School Games Organiser to find out more about each event.
We must ask that if you or any of your pupils have travelled from any of the places listed here, within the 14 days prior to the event then we will unfortunately have to ask you not to attend the event. If this affects you then we do hope you understand and would ask you to please get in touch with Jessica Simons on 07395795935 or email [email protected].
