GM Active celebrate success across the region at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards
GM Active are sponsoring two awards at this year's Greater Manchester Sports Awards; Young Sports Achiever of the Year and Initiative of the Year award.

Young Sports Achiever of the Year Award recognises young athletes who are not professionally funded that have had significant success in their sport throughout the year whilst the Initiative of the Year award recognises a physical activity initiative by an organisation which has made a difference in communities and achieved positive social outcomes. The awards will be presented on the 15th November at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards which recognise the incredible achievements and dedication towards physical activity and sport across the county. GM Active is a collective of 12 leisure and community organisations from across Greater Manchester that are all part of the same movement, to get more people physically active. Together the members of GM Active manage the bulk of the publicly owned leisure and physical activity assets and services on behalf of the 10 local authorities, for the good of the whole population, across the of the City Region of Greater Manchester.
