In order to support GM Moving’s Walking City Region Ambition (to support as many people as possible to walk every day in Greater Manchester) accessible and family friendly short walking routes are being identified and mapped on the Go Jauntly App.
It is hoped this will support individuals to discover local routes and encourage increased walking.

Go Jauntly (www.gojauntly.com) is a health and wellness company with an award-winning walking app. They are working to increase walking, mobility and outdoor adventures to promote
happier and healthier lifestyles. We offer a unique ready-made walking platform for businesses, local government and organisations to promote activity, wellness, active travel and sustainability to a wide range of user groups.
Walking Projects Plus (www.walkingprojects.com) is a Greater Manchester-based CIC focused on getting people walking for recreation, public health and active travel. Its activities include route development, community involvement, and publication of walking-related resources. Founded by a passionate group of experts in the field of walking and active travel, it aims to achieve long-term social, environmental and economic impacts for the communities it works with.
