Following our Quest assessment in late 2018, we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Excellent in Active Communities for County Sports Partnerships! Quest is supported by Sport England and is widely recognised as a leading continuous improvement model designed by the sector, for the sector.
We are incredibly proud to be awarded this rating and to be the first CSP to have received this rating so far. The award assesses five areas of business; collaborative leadership, continuous improvement & learning, partnership & brokering, team & people development and understanding place & people. It shows that we are making an impact in the local area through the work that we do with partners to continue to change the lives of people through physical activity and sport. It’s also down to the hard work and commitment of the staff and the great environment we work in both inside and outside the office.
We would like to extend our thanks to our local partners for their continued input and feedback, especially to those who came in while the Quest evaluation was taking place. Also thank you to Sport England for your ongoing support and guidance.
GreaterSport CEO Sara Tomkins said “The team and I are thrilled to have been rated Excellent in the new Quest Active Communities for CSPs. This is testament to Greater Manchester collaboration and our work with our partners who all work exceptionally hard to get Greater Manchester Moving so it is excellent to see this recognised. Thank you to everyone who was involved in the process.”
