This month the Greater Manchester School Games County Badminton Final took place at the Amaechi Centre. Only the schools who had competed in their borough’s Level 2 competition and earned 1st and 2nd place could compete, meaning the standard of competition was very high. After lots of exciting games and strong competition, only 1 team from each event is able to progress to the Regional Final, organised by Badminton England to represent Greater Manchester.

The teams which will be representing Greater Manchester are:

  • Under 14’s boys: Bolton School (Bolton)
  • Under 14’s girls: Altrincham Grammar School for Girls (Trafford)
  • Under 16’s boys: Manchester Grammar School (Manchester)
  • Under 16’s girls: Altrincham Grammar School for Girls (Trafford)

  • We would like to wish them the best of luck and hope they have a great day representing Greater Manchester!
