The Code for Sports Governance sets out the levels of transparency, accountability and financial integrity that are required from any organisation in receipt of public funding.
GreaterSport are wholeheartedly committed to ensuring we operate to the highest standards of governance and in doing so comply with all requirements of a Tier Three organisation. In doing so, adopting five principles of good governance which includes a strong commitment to safeguarding.
1. Structure (Board of Trustees)
Greater Manchester Moving has a clear and appropriate governance structure, led by a properly constituted Board which is collectively responsible for the long-term success of the organisation and exclusively vested with the power to lead it. That we uphold high standards of integrity, and engage in regular and effective evaluation to drive continuous improvement. We do this by publishing our GM Moving values and behaviours and our Trustees' code of conduct.
