This role is to support the Primary, Partner High School and Inclusion Teams meet some of the ambitious strategic objectives and targets set in the latest strategy.

The Role

  • To lead on securing new partner primary, secondary and special schools within a sustainable placed based model as set out in the strategy.
  • Grow the number of partner schools. (Primary, High, and Special schools).
  • Expand and develop two MU Foundation Children Villages.
  • Raise the profile, image and awareness of MU Foundation Education Schemes of work.
  • Engage and target headteachers from schools located in the most 20% deprived areas.
  • Recruit new schools to become Manchester United partners.
  • Create sustainable relationships with key people and organisations relevant to your role.

The Person

  • Strong and evident will to make positive difference to young people.
  • A minimum of ten years’ experience working with children and young people, within a school environment.
  • Hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable.
  • Able to build rapport, empathise with others, display emotional intelligence and have an approachable manor.
  • Understands Safeguarding best practice.
  • Has knowledge of National Curriculum and Ofsted Framework within schools.
  • Working in a school at an Executive Management position.
  • Proven ability of engaging with a range of stakeholders and external partners to achieve strategic and contractual objectives.
  • Managing partnerships demonstrating a passion for innovation, creativity and excellence.
